Responsibilities:
- This is a proactive and reactive center, the first line of defense and is available 24/7.
- Continuous monitoring of network infrastructure. Using tools to monitor network performance, uptime and availability - identifying and resolving any network anomalies, performance degradation or outages.
- Incident management - instant response, investigation and resolution of incidents. Following pre-defined procedures and workflows to resolve and troubleshoot network issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring rapid resolution.
- Network performance optimization - Analysis of network data and metrics, identification of bottlenecks or areas of suboptimal performance. Implementing measures to improve network efficiency, capacity and overall performance, ensuring an optimal user experience.
- Ensuring network security - monitoring network traffic, logs and security systems to detect potential security threats, intrusions or anomalies. Responding to security incidents, investigating breaches and implementing appropriate security measures to protect network infrastructure.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of network configurations, incidents, troubleshooting procedures, and performance reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance network performance and security.
- Ensuring effective coordination, timely updates and seamless communication to resolve network related issues and enable efficient operations.
- Hardware and software troubleshooting on request or during check-ups.
- Application maintenance and game functionality testing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum educational requirement: IV level of professional qualification - highschool diploma, preferably completed vocational school, technical college, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience as a NOC administrator or in a similar position.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Excellent knowledge of JIRA and/or another ticketing system.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix etc.
- Basic Windows skills (RDP, file organization, installation, system update, service restart, log view, script execution...);
- Basic Linux skills (RDP, file organization, installation, system update, service restart, log view, script execution...);
- Infrastructure configuration and maintenance (ELK, Grafana);
- Patching windows, linux and other systems;
- Incident management;
- Fluent in english.
